What a day!

A great time was had by all  …  even those who tipped over.  😉

The crowd was enthusiastic, we had 21 boats registered, and the weather was just right.

The volunteers ROCKED, and host Ian Robinson of Hot Country 103.5 brought the tunes and the commentary.

Thank you to our sponsors: POLYCORP Homes, 3M Canada, Acadia Broadcasting Limited, and UnMissable! Marketing. And we could not do this without the support of the Spryfield Business Commission and Long Lake Provincial Park Association.

So…what the DUCT is this race all about, anyway?

Construct a boat using only TWO items: cardboard and duct tape. (We’ll provide the duct tape, generously donated by 3M Canada!)

Gather donations in support of you and your crew being adventurous enough to do this! (Donate here!)

Paddle against other boats to a buoy and back at Long Lake Park.

All proceeds from this event go towards the not-for-profit Long Lake Provincial Park Association (LLPPA). This dedicated group of volunteers keep the park clean and accessible for walkers, runners, strollers, bikers, and four-legged friends. Donate here!

NEW PRIZE CATEGORY for 2023! Prizes will be awarded for those who raise the most donations. Get quacking! All the info for your friends, family and coworkers can be found on our Donate Page.
